Sandisiwe Sibonukuhle Heloise Ncube is a highly experienced Zimbabwean development economist with over 10 years of expertise in financial inclusion. Her career spans multiple impactful projects across Africa, Asia, and beyond, focusing on policy formulation, strategy development, and innovative financial products targeting underserved populations, especially women.
From 2010 to 2014, she contributed to Cenfri in Cape Town, where she honed her skills in financial inclusion strategies across countries such as Bangladesh, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Her work involved diagnosing barriers to financial access and designing tailored interventions to enhance financial services for marginalized groups.
Since becoming an independent consultant in 2014, she has collaborated with renowned organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, BFA Global, Inclusivity Solutions, and the Access to Insurance Initiative. Her projects primarily focus on women’s economic empowerment, digital payments, microinsurance, and inclusive insurance, often involving stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy.
