About Siphokazi Mdlankomo
The talented chef and TV personality grew up in Tsolo village outside of Umtata, Eastern Cape. She moved to Cape Town around 2001 where she found employment as a domestic worker for a kind Jewish family for fourteen years. In awe of her amazing cooking skills, Siphokazi’s employers encouraged her to share her talents with the world,and participate in cooking shows.
Siphokazi went on to win hit TV show, MasterChef. Taking her success to another level, Siphokazi also airs her very own cooking show, Let’s Eat with Siphokazi, which is now on its third season.
She has also published a cookbook, helping South Africans make their lives that much more delicious. She says that she had the chance to try out different recipes.
She has featured on television shows, published books and met amazing people from all around the world. Siphokazi says she particularly enjoyed flying to Spain to cook for 151 delegates.
