Zandile has always loved nature and has journeyed her differently at different times. When she found Freediving, she knew she wanted to go all the way with it!
Black Mermaid is where she found solace in this journey, she’s a Freediving Instructor based in Cape Town, South Africa. Being the first black African instructor in South Africa, she is determined to share her passion for the ocean with the world and explore how her deepest beliefs about the deep ocean can coexist with Freediving and perhaps even bring us closer to the knowledge of self.
